    Over Christine

    I completed my MBA in 2019 and have worked in the corporate world since then. When I was a student in university, I went on an Erasmus program to South Korea for one year and while I was there, I gave English lessons to private students and I enjoyed it a lot. While studying in KU Leuven I also used to tutor a few students in financial algebra, mathematics and statistics. I enjoyed teaching but never thought about it once I finished university.

    Motivatie

    I am a natural problem solver who takes pride in being a good communicator. I believe that that a student's ability to grasp a topic lies in the communication and teaching skills of the teacher.

    Mijn aanpak

    Usually I get to know the student briefly and let them get to know me as well - to break the ice and reduce the feeling of discomfort. Then I try to figure out what strengths or weaknesses they have in the subject at hand by asking about it or giving light tests. I then try to teach an easy topic to see what teaching method they respond well to. I then slowly introduce more difficult topics and a reward system if the student is young.
